The New 2023 Mercedes AMG C43

This is an introduction to the 2023 Mercedes-AMG C43. The new Benz arrives in an all-wheel drive and uses a hybrid assist that makes 402 horsepower, this is not all as it comes with a turbocharged inline-four. The C43 is going to supersede the performance of the coming C63 in terms of action and rendition. The C43 is presently at the top of the C-class lineup. The C43 is entirely redesigned for the 2023 model year. We speculate that it will be on sale late 2022. There’s no statement yet on the even more robust C63 model. What we know for now is that it too will be powered by an edition of the high-strung 2.0-liter turbo-four. Unfortunately, we do not think there would be a coupe and convertible models of the C43 this time around. Lovers of two-door cars may find the SL/CLE-class worthy alternates. Mercedes-AMG recently showcased a performance-oriented video of the C-class, and now it’s here already.

As for the engine, transmission, and performance, while the outgoing model was stimulated more than adequately by a 385-hp, 3.0-liter twin-turbo V-6, the 2023 C43 is going to show up with a downgraded turbocharged 2.0-liter inline-four. No cause for alarm, it does not mean the engine’s power is downsized, instead, it brings about a healthy 402 horsepower and is helped by a 48-volt hybrid system that at a lower rpm can still temporarily provide up to 13 more ponies. The new engine’s turbocharger layout is partly derived from the company’s F1 racing-engine tech. There is an integration of the turbocharger with an auxiliary electric motor for a quicker spin-up of the compressor, thus reducing turbo lag. The standard is a nine-speed automatic, there is no manual.

Interior, Comfort, and Cargo of the 2023 Mercedes-Benz C43

The Interior of the C43 is similar to that of the Mercedes-Benz C300’s cabin but bestows a sport-like twist by introducing more racier equipment such as optional carbon-fiber trim. The C43 also emerges with a sport steering wheel which features a flat bottom, a leather-and-suede wrap, and the AMG logo in the bottom spoke. Performance seats are incorporated too, as is a panoramic sunroof, heated and ventilated seats, a heated steering wheel, four-zone automatic climate control, and noise-insulating window glass.

Infotainment and Connectivity

All models come with a huge 11.9-inch entertainment touchscreen that is effortlessly incorporated into the core console and crafted slightly towards the driver.  It has a 12.3-inch digital meter display which is also standard, it runs the latest MBUX software interface that enables voice activation. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto should both be normal for wireless connectivity. You can choose a high-end Burmester stereo system, there is also a wireless smartphone charging pad, a head-up display, and in-dash navigation.

Warranty and Maintenance Coverage

Although competitors such as BMW, Genesis, and Volvo offer three years of complimentary maintenance, Mercedes-AMG excludes those benefits from its standard warranty offerings. Instead, all new AMGs come with an industry-standard plan that covers most things for up to four years or 50,000 miles. A limited warranty that covers up to four years or 50,000 miles. Powertrain warranty that covers up to four years or 50,000 miles. No complimentary organized maintenance.
