Yes. You can add protection anytime as long as you currently have at least one working key.

Lost, stolen, or broken car keys and fobs. Includes:

  • Smart keys and key fobs
  • Transponder keys
  • Key programming and reprogramming
  • Lockout service if keys are locked inside
  • Duplicate key if you only have one

Not covered: Keys you gave away, aftermarket keys (must be OEM dealer keys), keys lost before coverage started.

  3. Get approval (usually within 24 hours)
  4. Get replacement key from dealer or locksmith
  5. You pay $0 on covered replacements

For smart keys and fobs, you'll need to go to the dealer because they require programming. For lockout service, we'll send a certified locksmith to you.

Covered. You can get two keys replaced if needed (though most people only lose one at a time).

Usually 2-4 business days. The dealer has to order the key, then program it to your specific vehicle. If you're completely locked out, we'll get a locksmith to you same-day.

You choose: 24 months, 36 months, or 48 months of coverage.

This is exactly why lessees get this protection. Losing a key and not replacing it can result in $500+ penalties at lease turn-in. Key Replacement prevents that.

Yes. Unused coverage is refundable on a prorated basis if you sell the vehicle.

Most people who lose keys wish they had this coverage. If you lose one of your two keys, replacement still costs $200–$500. With coverage, it costs $0.

Covered. We'll get a locksmith to extract the broken key and provide a replacement.
